Hey y'all!

My friend Nathan gathered a bunch of people who had some sort of musical talent and started a band. We're called the Blue Ties because we all wear blue ties for our school uniform and nobody else has any better ideas.

Here's a link to the Facebook page I created for us. There's only been two practices so far and we're really only just starting. I think the plan is for us to play every Friday from 4 to 6, but the schedule is still a bit of a work in progress.

So here's my plan for what I'll be doing over the next few weeks with this account:

As I've already been doing, I'll record myself singing any new songs I write on Thursday nights. On other weekdays, I'll try to hold myself to playing guitar in a good part of my free time. Once I'm good enough with certain things, I'll try and record my singing with guitar as well.

Although there's not really going to be any releases outside of Newgrounds for a long time, I'll make a playlist here and call it an EP. Once I have the recordings with guitar, I'll add them to that playlist. The current title I'm planning on using is "A Fool is Not a Martyr".

Hello!

I'm Dustin. I posted some recordings of my own songs to my main account, SirIgnotus, but their lack of recognition and my acquisition of Facebook led me to un-publish them.

A comment from MchectorII revealed that he hoped to see more of my content someday. I hadn't realized that any of my written/sung songs were noticed or enjoyed until that. I decided to create this account to post those songs to, so people can still listen and enjoy, if they so please.

The inspiration for the name Four Doors is from a really old and rare album, Ten Months by No Tagbacks. It was published under the short-lived record label, Four Door Entertainment, and had an early House of Heroes sound with a little bit more punk to it, as well as some extra cleverness and relatability.

If you're here, it probably means you've stsrted following me early, so thanks! I'm excited to see what the future holds, if I actually start putting in some work on guitar so I can start a band someday.
